Senna was not disqualified for missing the chicane. He was disqualified for being assisted by track marshals.

The stewards were tweaking with the reason Senna was disqualified. They knew it was bs but chose to do it anyway. Therefore this is what Micheal did and got away with it once.

Same old story Prost was leading the championship , leading the race . He had no reason to let Senna pass . Senna was not quick enough to make an easy move, he had to make a kamikaze attack. The only way that it could work was that Prost let him through. No question for Prost to let the door open

Prost "deliberately" turned too early, he openly admitted it on twlevision, it just goes to show how heated things can become in any sport, not just F1.

And they penalized Senna for Prost turning into him, great job FIA as always.

The Impact like this will garante that the car will split and the engine would move futher in the pits. so the second impact is not as strong.

The problem with this incident is, we can't just judge this on it's own merits. The incident happened originally because Senna was fond of putting his car in places where he would either get through or there would be a crash. Prost had seen this too many times from his point of view and had had enough. The second thing is Senna rejoining the track. Whilst it is true he couldn't do anything else it has been suggested there was a Marshall with a flag on the exit of the chicane and he simply drove past him without permission hence causing his disqualification. It's a suggestion only The third and final point is that Senna could still have won the drivers championship that year in the next round after Prost had retired but then rammed Martin Brundle up the back

I don't think this could be rebuilt any safer. The first wall on the left Max would have hit is rounded so no one can crash into its edge (similar to Checo at the Nouvelle Chicane a while back). If there is a gap in the wall for the pit entry, there will always be an unfortunate angle. For this not to happen at these speeds, the pit entry (and with it the entire pit lane) would have to be moved somewhere else. I hope circuit designers at least take this into account when coming up with new street tracks.

Blaming Senna based on futurology is just dumb. "IF Senna wouldn't had made the turn..." The crash in question is the one that actually happened and it's 100% intentional by Prost.

The crash that would have been happened, IF Senna had not been able to make the corner, this one yes would be Senna's fault. This is called "Futurology". The crash we're talking about, in question, is the one who actually happened and it was 100% intentional by Prost. (Just remembering that Senna did EXACTLY the same maneuver on Nannini a few laps later. And he did it several times in this same place in different Suzuka GP's, check it out. PREDICTING that Senna wouldn't have made the corner is just wrong.)

Senna was never making that corner anyway. He was gonna blow straight on and screw Prost. It's a perfect example of Senna's complete inability to actually think logically. This crash has always been and will always be purely the fault of Senna

So does the mirrored path include the adjusted path of the original car after hitting the wall? If it doesn't then this is already wrong.

In my opinion if he replicated the mirrored path he wouldn’t have had any injuries because it wasn’t rapid deceleration the same with the silverstone incident. And the survival cell would have protected him
